During the experiment, we observed that the graph went down beacause the leaves were taking in carbon dioxide and increasing oxygen for photosynthesis. We also concluded that plants take in carbon dioxide for photosynthesis. The leaves gave out water vapour too. That experiment was fun and meaningful. We put the leaves in the a container and used a torch to shine on it. We used blue tacks to stick the leaves inside the container.
Besides that, we went to take the height and numbers of leaves today. The height of the Singapore sunflower was 42cm and 18 leaves. The height of the Taiwan sunflower was 24cm and 17leaves. We wished that the sunflower could grow faster.

You are right! Plants take in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and that explained why the graph showed that the level of carbon dioxide is decreasing over time.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like your Singapore sunflower plant is growing better than the Taiwan sunflower plant. :)
